There are several foundations for total wellness. The one I am going to talk about today is sleep. Getting the right amount of sleep and good quality sleep is important for your overall total wellness and stress management.
Set a sleep schedule for yourself. Getting up and going to bed about the same time each day is important for setting your body’s natural sleep cycle. Avoid blue light 3 hours before bedtime. Blue light from screens tells your brain it’s time to be awake. Most devices nowadays have a blue light filter that you can enable on them. Start with one thing at a time for improving your sleep and add a new one in every couple of weeks. You’ll see a difference in no time.
