Meditation and Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness impact so may areas of our lives in such a positive way. By utilizing meditation and mindfulness on a daily basis, you can improve your sleep, reduce anxiety and help relieve stress. Whether you are a morning meditator, a 5-minute middle of the day meditator or and evening meditator, the effects of this practice will last throughout your whole day.

I know that when I first started practicing meditation, I felt that I didn’t know enough and that I didn’t have the right tools or props. I am sharing with you now that you don’t need anything special to meditate and you can get benefit from as little as 5 minutes per day. Consistency is the key for the benefits of meditation.

Meditation is not a rigid formula or set of rules. It is a practice and it will change from day to day. Even experienced meditators have an off day. Maybe their focus isn’t as good or they get a leg cramp. Be gentle and kind with yourself. You don’t have to figure everything out all at once. Just be willing to start.

I offer a 6 class series to explore a variety of topics to support a personal meditation practice. Each week will have a mix of tips & tools for addressing common obstacles to establishing a practice, time to practice together & opportunity to ask questions.
